Porifera
Commonly known as sponges. The 9,000 or so species are all aquatic with most representatives living in salt water, although about 100 species live in fresh water habitats.. These simple multicelluar animals are an offshoot of the main evolutionary paths seen in the animal kingdom.
Callyspongia Vaginalis
Callyspongia Vaginalis have no muscles this is because it is a sponge and does not need any. A sponge is a hollow tube with many pores or openings. The skeleton is made of lime or silicon. They are limited myocyte capability in some pinacocyotes.
Cliona Celata
Cliona Celata, sometimes called the Red Boring Sponge, is a species of demosponge belonging the family Clionaidae. It is found worldwide. This sponge creates round holes up to 5 cm in diameter in limestone. The sponge itself is often visible as a rather featureless yellow or orange lump at the bottom of the hole. Cliona Celata is also a sponge with no musclular system because it has no muscles.
Didemnum Molle
Soft, urn shaped, colonies, more rarely encrusting or lobed, diameter 5-10 cm. The common cloacal opening is very large compared to the many, tiny, oral siphons scattered all upon the colony. Didemnum Molle is also a sponge with no musclular system because it has no muscles.
